As an interesting side note to the Golden Rice . . .We recently discovered that when you increase CO2 levels in the atmosphere of plants, you decrease their nutritional value, equal and opposite by the looks of it. More research is being conducted.

They release GMO mosquitoes this year in Africa. "Gene drive" mosquitoes, designed to breed out Malaria.

I wonder what else that breaks in the food web.

There is so much misunderstanding around genetically modified foods. We wouldn't be able to consume the majority of fruits and vegetables we do today, if it weren't for the modifications made in the last 1000 years.

Bananas had large seeds in them. Broccoli was a a cluster of twigs.

Our issue with GM foods has to be related to glyphosate and other toxic additives and processes. Genetic modification on its own makes food edible, accessible and can save lives.

That was Monsanto designing wheat that has to use their pesticide and herbicide for maximum profit. Their seed and chemicals in a monopoly ,roundup the herbicide causes non hodgkin lymphoma, . Monsanto has been gifting us poisons for a very long time, first agent orange then equal, then round up ,quite a list of poisoning for profit. Their GMO seeds were designed for use with only their chemicals
