Ray Kurzweil suggests that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle and the limit to the speed of light could be hints that our universe is a computer simulation, with some programming errors. Does this suggest the possibility of an imperfect but conscious, intentional programmer of that simulation?
It's a hypothesis that is not testable and therefore is not relevant. If he can show us a way to potentially falsify it I can begin to take him seriously. Until then, it's a null assertion.
I'm agnostic; it's unknowable.
Me too, actually. I'm not aware of convincing evidence for or against a creator.
