New poll shows many high school students think a high school diploma is enough. My own daughter, who has a brain, dropped out of high school, and feels she doesn't even need a GED. What is going on with our kids and grandkids?
A certain percentage of kids have always gone that way. Many of them are successful entertainers and entrepreneurs. Many others are working at McDonalds or retail. For many more, they become aware of their mistake and struggle to catch up later in life, getting their GED and a college education. This is nothing new or generational, just distressing when it’s your own kids.
A loss of hope, a loss of respect, a surety that it is too late to avert disaster and the feeling that whatever is done by yourself as an individual will make no difference.
Sit back enjoy the show, a front row seat to the end of the world and society.
So long and thanks for all the fish.
