The Democrats couldn’t ignore this level of crime. It’s obvious the R’s have nothing to add but further attempts to confuse and ignore.

I find it strange, and hopeful ..listening to the testimony of diplomats appointed by previous Republican administrations, actually upholding their oaths or allegiance to our nation … above politics.. I’ve come to expect that from Democrat appointments.

Allowing the salesman-like rapid-fire off-topic questions from the R’s ‘attorney's’ is both a turnoff and a waste of time, though. It’s being done fair, though. And, for the reason it was included in our Constitution.

The Dems in the House would be smarter to end the impeachment hearings by voting for censure, instead of impeachment, and inviting the Repubs to join them. That would help the Dems more in the next election than wasting time on a symbolic impeachment attempt that everyone knows will not remove him from office. Most voters do not care about the impeachment issues vs. the far more important issues of the economy, health care, college costs, endless war, etc..

Listening to the state department guy and the ambassador is amazing. They are wonderful in there ability to say what has happened but withhold judgment. I could not do it. Though you can see what they think in how they maneuver their answers.
