Does anybody see a discrepancy between Roy Moore and Al Franklin? When confronted, Franklin came out and issued an apology and at least in his second and more formal apology didn’t make excuses. Roy Moore on the other hand will not issue an apology of any sort and accuses those making the allegations of lying. I just think that an apology should be appreciated and be given recognition while lying and stonewalling should bring a different level of condemnation.
What do you guy think?

There is a HUGE difference. Franken showed damned poor judgment and taste and has admitted it. Moore intended to prey on those young girls and did it over and over -- and does not have the honesty or moral courage to admit it!

Roy Moore and his type don't surprise me nor do his apologists.
I'm very saddened about Al because he is such a fighter for the people, a real national treasure.
I do think Al handled it the best way possible and am glad the woman who came forward accepted his apology, but of course now the halo is off and the rules are different for anyone with a 🍸 after their name when it comes to the right wing. "Oh but look what Al did!" sigh...

There will be more to come I'm sure. It is really amazing to me how awful the Harry Weinsteins and the dotards of this world have been protected for so long.
