I grew up in radio and television and worked in radio before changing to a career in music. So I have a warm spot in my heart for WKRP. I worked with a gentleman who worked at a station in East Texas which had a similar promotion with guineas being tossed off of a two story building with similar results.

It's amazing how stupid people can be. Why would they do that?
@TheoryNumber3 Whoever put the promotion together thought they could fly very short distances, and since they had wings they would use them to slow their decent. Surprise! Surprise!
@Sticks48 I can laugh at the WKRP episode.. but to think someone was actually stupid enough to do that makes me sad. 
I think this was one of the funniest things ever on TV My favorite line: "as God as my witness, I thought turkey's could fly."
