"You shouldn't judge people!" I have often heard this from my Christian friends. They base it on "Judge not lest you be judged". I find it ironic that when they say this, it is predicated on judgement, that is by their judgement someone was making a judgement.
What other things have you heard theist say that is full of irony?

I think real judgment involves punishment. The other judgment is just observation.

Could you expalin this further?

@DavidLaDeau One example of real judgment is the type done by a judge who can mete out punishment if you're guilty. Then there's the ordinary folk who judge and punish people as they feel inclined. Then there's judging people as being whatever but leaving them the hell alone.

@brentan Thank you!
