Reflection and new years resolutions.
I used to be very opposed to new years resolutions, thinking if you want to change something just do it.
Of course it is important to reflect and adjust. Admittedly i have done enough of that in my life. So the idea of an annual expectation of it has new appeal to me, at least as a baseline.
So im reflecting on how my times been spent vs things i want to do...there is so much i want to do and i am so easily distracted by things i genuinely enjoy. It's an interesting balancing act.
What are your thoughts on new years resolutions, personal promises and how best to keep them?
I make "resolutions" frequently... Why only once a year? Why limit yourself?
As mention I agree with the sentiment in principle only I don't do so frequently. Having the annual remind seems a good way to do so more consistently, and doesn't require being the only time of the year it is done, but rather a time we can expect a more collaborative community discussion on resolutions.
