Flat-Earther Mike Hughes and his rocket
I think there must be a condition where people are so totally overwhelmed with being able to understand stuff (like science), that they protect themselves with a shield of denial. It's easier psychologically to just believe everyone involved is making it up, and hold firm onto something they can understand.
There is certainly proof that the earth is not flat especially since we have been up in space and seen the curvature of the earth. Hubble shows it very well. You could do time lapse photography and show the earth actually turning. Smart people way before space trave had good scientific evidence.
Nope. Perfectly flat. You've bought in to a huge conspiratorial hoax. All the scientists, physicists, engineers, and astronauts are in on it, not to mention camera and production crews, and everyone involved in manufacturing your so-called "proof."

Incidentally, Hubble wouldn't show Earth very well at all [hubblesite.org]
I remember my great grandfather cursing at his TV when the pictures from the moon landing were shown. His daughter, my grandmother was born in 1905. so I am guessing grandpa was born in 1885 or before. Anyway, he was absolutely certain we could NOT have traveled to the moon. I just shook my tiny head. I regard flat earthers in much the same way.
