Shew - am glad it wasn't like that when I lived up there. We had 2 very mild years while I was there.

Very hot & smokey?
@Heidi68 Millions of animals dying, several human fatalities, hundreds of homes and buildings destroyed and thousands of hectares of land burnt to a cinder.
And we’ve only just begun. We are not quite into the traditional fire season yet.
@Geoffrey51 I have been following on Google & FB. I have a friend who lives a bit further south (Melbourne area). I have been checking on him & his family so he has been keeping me updated also.
@Heidi68 That’s good. Fire encroached into the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne yesterday which is unheard of.
