Impeachment Impasse. [nytimes.com]

"On the first day of the legislative session, Senate leaders indicated they had made no progress in resolving their logjam over how to proceed."

My first thought: If our elected Senators cannot figure out a way to proceed, they shouldn't be in these jobs in the first place.

My second thought: On the first day of the new semester, I've decided to announce to my students, "Class is canceled until I can resolve the logjam of my job and figure out a way to proceed."

If it's good enough for our government, it's good enough for me. Whose joining me?

It is so simple: Pelosi sends over her hand picked "Managers" from all the Congressmembers there are fine lawyers to introduce all the evidence.....Pelosi instead is jury tampering trying to get promises for conviction before the SENATE trial commences

@linxminx TOTALLY TRUE all 537 incumbents are bribed with more money than their job salaries ....additionally their families are lavished with bribes

Pelosi is the PROBLEM not 100 Senators and Robert's presiding....he clerked for Reynquist when Clinton was acquitted in the SENATE

If I did that, I suspect my students would be dancing in the hallways! But the principal would undoubtedly notice and send them back to class and insist it teach them! The senators have no such boss except us to send them backing. Unfortunately, Republican voters would, unlike my principal, join in the dancing.
