The morning after my birthday. I went out to a great burger and two beers. My blood sugar is swirling in hell and it will take a day or more to get back in a normal range.
Screw it. It was worth it.
Nothing better than enjoying Jerry and the boys.

Happy Birthday! Our bass player (Jerry Burns) does a show called "Jerry's Kids". They do nothing but "Dead" songs.

Is that show on a podcast or Youtube?
@Spinliesel I will ask him. They do all Dead songs, but they don't try to copy the Dead. Jerry has a voice reminiscent of Paul Simon. He rotates a lot of different players in and out of the group so it can take on a very different feel depending on the players on any particular evening. One night he did a trio with these two really good players who obviously had at least some background in jazz. It had that kind of feel of the small jazz combos and clubs of my youth, but it was all Dead songs. You might like them. My sister-in-law is a Dead Head and she really likes them.
