Good day to all, need some advice.I am atheist from i was a child, i am now 50 years living with my girlfriend for a number of years. For the past five months, she has become a Christian, then suddenly she stop having sex with me , started to sleep in separate rooms and stop wearing those sexy clothes around the house. although i was planning to married her, i now have second thought. she is now saying it against the church rules for she to be having sex with me . I will have to baptist, get married and becomes a member of the church. clearly i am not in that. please share your views.

She is no longer interested in a relationship with you. The religion part might even be her way of separating, consciously or not.

On the other had, your profile indicates you are open to meeting women. Sounds like you are also done with the relationship, unless you have an open one.

Look for a new place to live, or throw her out...she is putting the Easter Bunny ahead of love for you.

You're screwed. There's no cure for what she's got. She may snap out of it on her own if the hypocrisy gets to her. Maybe

Your lack of belief is just as valid as her choice to believe. If I were you, while I might be willing to marry in a church, I would not take on a religion just to please her. Belief in anything is not something that can be forced or mandated. Good luck - not an easy situation !

Bring her to a synagogue, a mosque, and all churches from shinto to scientology.

If you are going to "join" a religion you want to be sure you are not making a choice that leads directly to hell.

Hopefully she will start to see reason. If not, she is lost and best left to wander in the wilderness alone.

It would be a difficult relationship. I would get out of it. However, you have to decide based on your love for her vs your love of freedom.

I agree with sticks. Run as fast as you can. Get her out of your house. It's like a virus or poison .

This is a situation where you should consider yourself lucky it happened now and not later.

Talk to her. Be completely open about your feelings. Let HER make the decision.
