Is there any precedent to such a broad travel ban ? It seems to me there are ways (screening of passengers from China is already underway) to mitigate the danger(s).
@FearlessFly Apparently they can screen Chinese visitors from the general area where the virus is growing. They can also issue Traveler Advisories for US citizens. I've never heard of a general ban.
