A young older me stared back in the mirror today. My face looked worn with worry. Lines seemed there there were not before. My eyes looked so tired.

I'm being faced with the proposition of an upper denture. I chose a partial as for me getting rid of the last of my good teeth seems to seal another nail in the coffin. Most of my upper's being lost in my car wreck of the last 90's. I've worn various bridges, partials etc. Most of the dentists I have been to suggest just pulling the rest. However, I resist.

I cannot eat well. Tonight a baked potato. Eggs were late breakfast.

I was going to start on Weight Watcher's and joined but due to this new development will have to postpone till I get my partial next week.

Anyone else there see a young older you looking back?

In my heart I still believe the same things. Equality and all that jazz. However, I do notice a deference to my age by the young folk. Also, I notice how medical professionals treat you. It's not a good feeling. It's just like being written off.

I'm not ready to be written off just yet. I still have my hopes and dreams. I will carry on. Although, I'm mightily tired caring on alone.
