I have unloaded three hundred cows from a drought stricken area into a lush green feild....they don't stop to have a munch. They stampeded over to the otherside tuned and kept frolicking...high kicks...must be a placebo effect cos i thought they were in a pretty sorry state when they arrived at the feed lot. They had a few days of beer mash and pulped orange husks and a few other tasty nibbles...so the boss would go around buying crops in seedling stage and grow them on
....didnt bother with any spraying or fert....and i would open the gates and its go crazy time for them...they settled after a few minutes or so and grazed.
I have always thought cows are pretty happy critters. They would do the same when we put them in the arena for cutting (shows or practice).
