Yesterday was nasty here but just furries, nothing was sticking. Today it got up to 55°+. I even saddled Zack & went for a ride (after I did spring cleaning & dog baths).
@Heidi68 It turned out to be a great day for a ride! I rode my bike.
@AstralSmoke as I was chillin with the dogs last night I thought that exact thing! I should have gone for a bike ride also (instead of cleaning stuff)
@Heidi68 I hate cleaning. I do it anyway, but it seems like such a waste of time.
@AstralSmoke me too. My house is little & I have a Roomba so that helps.
@Heidi68 Roomba. Are they those little robots that vacuum the floor? My apartment isn't so large either, but I still hate cleaning it. It's something I should do everyday, but I don't. I guess I'm a typical guy in that regard. Your house didn't look so small in the photos. You do have a nice spot though.
@AstralSmoke yes Roomba is a robot vacuum, his name is Roomie
900 sq ft - 1 bedroom, 1 bath, tv room, dining & kitchen together
@Heidi68 Wow, that is small. Very nice! Is it large enough for you and your band of canines?
@AstralSmoke plenty of room for the pack, especially since they are tiny. I think I could actually handle it being a bit smaller.
@Heidi68 Only a dream for me at the present. I have three bedrooms at the moment, because of my kids. Someday!
Nice pics. I wish there was more sun shine in my neck of the woods.
I lived in the PNW for a few years that got a touch yucky. But last week was nasty & next week is suppose to be the same so I was very happy this morning & so far today... and the temp is currently 55°!
Lived in Belgium for four years in the 60’s. If we had a sunny day they declared it a national holiday !
Good morning sunshine....
Good morning
There’s a live cam I check almost daily, watching the weather of my home town in the PNW - damn - I’ve not seen a sunny day for nearly three months! Remember when I lived there ..thinking, ‘humans must have a lifetime limit of rainfall,’ and I’d reached it..
Over East, I sometimes have to laugh ...give em 3 days of rain.. and they’re ready to end it all Hey, (as usual) we’ve the same weather up on the Ridge - mag(fuckin)nificent! It’ll rain hard, but mostly, it shines
I lived across the sound from Seattle so I know all about PNW drizzle from Oct to May. We still have flooded rivers from last week and they are saying more Mon-Thurs.....
@Heidi68 ‘All water flows away from my current county’ ..so we recover pretty quick. You were in the Rainforest! We’d joke that summer began the 5th of July in Oregon ...as it so often rained on The Fourth.
Over here, I’ve seen downpours as heavy ..or heavier than anything in the PNW. But it was the continuous days, weeks, months of ‘precipitation’ that caused places like Starbucks to thrive. I’d lived near a creek in OR, had recurring nightmares of my front yard and access road washing out.. Not no more - high & dry
