Happened after Bush (though how he got elected to a second term is beyond me. Why do Democrats so often trot out such lame, wimpy candidates?).

@Storm1752 I don’t get it… Perhaps Bill Clinton & Barack Obama were simply exceptional human beings.. At the moment, after the should-be presidential candidate ..did not win, it appears ‘moderates with talent’ all took a step backward!
What emerged? A fractured pot of extreme leftists, old men, and ‘niche demographics’ lacking electability… F! Right now, I’m trying to decide which old man to give my primary vote to…
