Put this in General as it affects everyone.
Coronavirus
Just returned from Thailand and have to say think the paranoia is way over the top, but empty planes are great for travelling. But my question is this;
People have been quarantined and vetted at airports yet all are required to give a finger print scan. Now in my honest opinion, if a virus is going to spread then everyone putting their grubby fingers on the same piece of glass is a great way to do it. What is more important? Stopping the spread of a potential epidemic or collecting finger prints off travelers?

They don't have everyone use hand sanitizer right before the scan? I also have to wonder about touchless scanning, surely that tech exists.
