Here's what Australia's godbothering government is up to:
I'm betting that's the TST (The Satanic Temple) version of Satanism. Basically Atheists. Though they do have a list of tenets.
They fight the religious mainstream by being an approved "religion" - therefore they can challenge prayer before meeting or in school - by offering their own versions.
The same with the children's activities if they're offered.
They can fight back by being a "reglion" and one people don't want to see participating.
It's a way to fight back. Not a way to worship Satan. lol Though they make a good show of it. It squicks the religious.
Perhaps I should investigate and start a local branch.
I remember that in Wollongong a Satanist group demanded of the local religiously run community radio station that they be given air time. They were eventually!
"squicks?" I don't know what that means.
Its origin identifies your proclivities?
@FrayedBear nope it's just become part of the popular lexicon.
@RavenCT Not in my circles.
@FrayedBear nows the time!
@RavenCT why? As I rarely experience pleasure why should I wish to squick?
"Religious exemptions" (to the law)
What a truly terrifying phrase.
Only accountable to god - sounds like American foreign policy.
