Amazon is a business and as such, treatment is where you stand on the employment "food chain"...here in Seattle, Amazon IT people are quite well off. Seattle is super competitive for IT people so life is good for those. For warehouse/distribution people will be different. This is not so competitive(low skill), so will be more restrictive and less secure(and all that goes along with being less secure)...
