I’ve never heard that particular phrase, but Baptists are notorious for assuming a humble profile. Christianity in general is somewhat like that, with original sin, atonement, etc.

I like to think of myself as an extension of universal consciousness, perfect and worthy of peace and joy. The only “sin” is lack of awareness caused by those very negative false judgments exemplified above.

Never heard that one, mind you folks don't talk much Jeberish [sic] round here. If someone stated that to me I'd be inclined to ask "So what kind of just system is that? People getting unjust desserts sounds like a rigged game to me."

But I guess phrases like that take a leaf out of the Catholic mind control game of "original sin" and "you're all guilty AF" play book. Persuade a bunch of people they are horrible people who deserve to burn in hell (also a modern invention - there is no hell in the bible) then sell them a cure - fealty to your pay-as-you-go church for the rest of their days. It's like polluting the crap out of someone's water supply on purpose and then charging them for purifiers. Except the pollution is made up and the purifiers fake.

I don’t see any religious connotation there in a normal exchange. If bless I am missing something.

When people ask me how I am I say ‘I’m lovely thank you’. I might be seen as arrogance or something but I honestly don’t care!

Anybody who states "I'm better than I deserve" is suffering from more issues of personality and more issues of cognition than I care to name.

Interesting. Maybe it's just where I'm from (AZ with family from NE and I lived for a while in WA). But I don't remember ever hearing that phrase.
I can definitely see how it would be annoying -- especially if someone thought they were being sincere with it. Ugh.

How about talking to the Amalekites, the Amarites, the Moabites, the Kenites and more. Also because of what you have used there is also that same day thing.
