I saw this yesterday on the BBC news....it was amazing. Brilliant idea by the surgeon to have her play her instrument during the operation to remove the tumour. As you say, well done our NHS and the surgical skills to do the operation, and with no huge bill to pay either, because all treatment is free at the point of need.

I saw this on yesterday's BBC news broadcast. The doctors wanted a way to check they weren't affecting healthy tissue next to the tumour, and the violinist suggested playing whilst they operated. It was amazing.
