I do believe in free speech, but I also believe that those who exercise it can and shoudl be held reponsible for the consequences tht result directly from what they say. I also believe in practical limittions for public safety, such as the laws against yelling "fire" in a crowded place.

Freedome comes with responsbilities to use it wisely.

Yes, but you better be prepared for what happens afterward. I always type or write out what I want to say, read it then decide if saying what I think is worth the consequences. Usually just writing it out is enough to make me feel better.

Yes. However, any individual or group that uses violence or the threat of violence to try to prevent other people exercising their right to free speech no longer deserves to be permitted the right themselves.

I also believe that whatever anyone chooses to say, has consequences.
Whether they are intended or not, better be prepared to deal with them.
Most people don't realize that the First Amendment only guarantees that
the government can't retaliate against you for speaking against it.
Whatever you choose to say can expose you to consequences from society in general.
No one is protected against that.
