Contraception and the Catholic Church.
[overpopulation-project.com]

”With 7.8 billion people on Earth, growing by about 83 million a year, and nearly 40% of conceptions being unintended, periodical abstinence is still the only contraceptive method accepted by the Catholic Church.”
Needless to say, with church membership, in the US, dropping the church will need to change its stance on this or die. Many Catholics support the need for family planning. Even my own mother after 8 pregnancies, resorted to the pill. Actually the best birth control was my dad’s snoring.

Religion is not always in sex, but sex IS always in religion. Literally they have to make as many babies as possible to keep the religions going and to make them grow. It is just another stradigy like door knocking. I am not exagerating or taking it out of context. Religion will do anything to survive like a viris or meme. Again my intent is not to be direspectful or misleading. Sometimes facing how things work does look nice once said.

I am no. 1 out of 7 kids from a Catholic family. Know all too well of the motivation. In some places (like Africa) it is also cultural. Not all religions are this way but the Catholic and Mormon churches are especially crazy. It should not be about numbers but quality of the institution. With all the pedophile lawsuits the church is losing money and members. It's time they looked at what the real problems are.

The Catholics cling to this one like a rabid dog with a pork chop, simply because it produces more little catholics to prop up their diminishing returns.
Evil irresponsible organization, that even freely admits their own founder would not recognise them as his own church if he ever came back
