I was fired from my job this morning. Volunteers of America Illinois turned out to be a hostile work environment for me. I will be moving back to Michigan next weekend. I will not miss Illinois.

The companies seem as draconian as ever. The unemployment office runs a course on - " Building a LinkedIn
Account" - yeah ( I thought it was you skill set , not how many hits on social media ) . INTERESTING fact: employers
spend up to $4,000.00 to head hunters to get an employee in the door.-( or guard the door)-.

@Infoguy211 That's good then. The credentials and the prioritizing of your mental health. Hopefully you don't have to go back to your mom's place. Consider asking a friend to couch surf for a bit? No shame in getting a new job while getting some assistance from a friend, in a HEALTHY environment.
@Infoguy211 I am sorry to hear this. Lousy friends. :/ Good luck to you in your transition. But good job in finding a job and making such drastic changes. IT shows you can do it again and are adaptable
