I'm late to the game, I guess, but has anyone else watched Afterlife? The Ricky Gervais Netflix show? It's his best yet, I think. For any non-religious person who has lost a loved one, this rings true. Beautiful, powerful, authentic... I'm looking forward to the next season.

The advantage of being late to the game is you already know there will be a sequel and it will come much sooner. I'm glad it wasn't as cringe worthy as The Office - in fact it was pretty restrained and the points well made. The last couple of episodes were a refreshing end to the series.

I agree. I watched it some time ago and was impressed. I thought they rounded out the ending nicely, so I'm not sure where they'll take it in the next season, but I'll be watching it.
