So first there were Russian trolls/bots tweeting/posting crap to hurt Hillary's campaign. Now they are back trying to help Bernie's campaign.. All in an attempt to cause divide and mistrust within our country.. Okay, I can see that happening. But let's not be so quick to accuse each other of being in on it. I don't think Bernie is working with Putin any more than I thought Trump was.. [snopes.com]
Perhaps don’t worry about it unless you can change it. Be true to you and let the others work out their own sensibilities.
"Cause divide and mistrust within our country?"
Does anybody need Russia's help to do that?
I trust the Republicans zero percent already. I guess it's theoretically possible using quantum mechanics, and 'butterfy effects,' to go into negative territory.
This might cause me to trust them -100%, if we can work out the equations.
Congratulations on passing up a chance to engage in a meaningful dialogue...
@Captain_Feelgood I'm SERIOUS!
What do you want me to say? 'Oh, okay, I DON'T believe Bernie's conspiring with the Russians?.'
Okay, I don't.
StSinner's a worse troll than anything the Russians can throw at us!
Yeah but the difference is Bernie has never been too Russia... Oh wait!
j/k
The reality is it is obvious if Putin is helping Bernie it isn't a case of Bernie working with him, just Putin wishing to taint the strongest candidate to help Trump win, or Putin wishing to help a candidate who can't win against Trump get the nomination, or it is all a story made up and leaked to help Trump in some way.
So why would Putin want Trump to win? It's not like he has given Putin any love on the world stage.. Your theory just does not compute.
@Captain_Feelgood Putin simply wants the most inept candidate to win, and if he is able to create deep divisions and polarization of American society that is superb icing on the cake!
@Captain_Feelgood because Putin want's plenty more pro-Russia rhetoric out of the Whitehouse, more weakening of NATO as a credible unified institution, continued denial and lack of retaliation for interfering in our elections, and more support or lack of opposition where Russia is engaging in empire building - Ukraine and Libya.
And that's all before you factor in Trump's personal entanglement with Russian actors that compromise his ability to be objective and serve the United States constitution before his personal interests. That's why we had the farcical show of him saying "Vladimir told me they didn't interfere in the election and I believe him". That staggering show of fealty or stupidity would cause cries of treason if Obama or HRC had pulled a stunt like that. So of course someone as either compromised or gullible as that would be desirable to Putin.
And on the flip side what's the alternative for Putin? Compared to any Democrat who most definitely would not continue down those paths it's obvious why he would back Trump.
@Petter EXAAACTLYYY.
