A post by @Lorajay on her new promotion to the next level set me thinking. What is your "points per day (ppd) rate"?
Divide your total current points by the number of days you have been a member of agnostic.com to calculate it.
My ppd works out as 244 . (ie. An average of 244 points per day since I joined.)
What is yours?
P.S. Your ppd rate, Jo, is 77.
I do not think mine will be accurate since I did not become active in the community until like half a year or a year later. And it works out to a ppd rate of 52
ooh man I remember I joined this community in the year my parental unit died and it was only until the next year, when I moved to a new apartment, that I started using this community more. The atheist groups on facebook drove me away as they were obsessed with sexist porn image swaps and that was low tier for me. And this group struck my intellectual fancy
@demifeministgal That's also why I like it. Fun banter, mixed with serious and intellectual stuff, and flavoured with a religion-free veneer.
Recalculate your ppd based on the date you became more active!
@Petter IF you think I made a mental note of the date I started being more active in this forum, you are being silly! XD hehe
20.58 points per day.
Better speed up. At this rate you'll have to change your name to "Fit-60something" when you reach the next level!
Yeah, and that's being optimistic.
646.93
Pretty high rate that. When do you sleep?
@Petter hey do not assume! Perhaps he is a member of the insomniacs group as well
All I know Petter when I was not working I used to be on all the time. Sometimes 1,000 to 2,000 points per day. I'm not posting everyday anymore so with 702,000 points divided by 730 days plus 2 months 45 days equals 906 points per day? Is that right?
You joined 826 days ago. That equals 850 ppd. Very active indeed!!!
Looking forward, that predicts 350 days before you attain "God" status and can cease to be agnostic!!
@Petter LOL LOL
Is quality a better measure over quantity ? The only way quality is judged here is the number of likes. So well done for a fantastic daily rate. You must have lost a lot of sleep over that , but will you reveal your numbers of ' likes '?
Remember, "likes" includes pukes, etc.
Neither is a measure of quality. But ppd is a "fun" figure, that also gives a personal idea of time between increases in levels.
As for losing sleep, all sorts of obscure ideas first occur to me either in my sleep or sitting on the toilet!
@Petter I am not underestimating the value of ppd , but what do you mean by pukes? ... in this context?
@Mcflewster To puke means to vomit. This must be another "cultural" difference caused by the Atlantic ocean. (Which, if swallowed, will certainly induce a desire to puke.)
@Petter "likes" includes pukes, etc.... Yes I know the meaning of puke but how is it assocuiated with "likes ?
@Mcflewster Simply that any response, be it a like, love, laugh or puke, is counted as a "like" in one's points tally.
@Petter I agree with admin that ANY response is better than none. When I click on who has "liked" me I do not see any pukes - otherwise I would have known the connection. How many pukes have you had then?? You do not have to answer that question.
@Mcflewster Sadly, the puke emoji has gone now. In the pre-update site om often gave pukes at mention of certain dastardly deeds.
Bernie, his, supporters, and other left-leaning folk would do well to read Utopia. Parenthetically, I believe there are many who do not consider NPR unbiased
