The “deep state” is nothing more than a intentionally vicious and destructive knowing fiction. It was created deliberately to aid authoritarian figures to damage our constitutional processes and principles by attacking people who act to uphold them. It is a totally unpatriotic creation, if not a treasonous one.

It is not the Deep State Trump talks about, because he along with Fox have been instructed to redefine the term. The real Deep State is a coalition within the military-industrial-intelligence complex which operates to preserve the status quo, including the power structures that control the massive spending on black-budget projects. These power structures tolerate the facade of democratic government, and have come to script most of what goes on. Trump's obfuscation of the real Deep State superficially seeks to bolster his standing, but has done a superb job of drawing fire away from the real Deep State.

@racocn8 As a high school teacher I was certified in both science and social studies. I taught biology, chemistry, earth science, general science, 7th grade social studies, and U.S. history. In graduate school in addition to a major in educational leadership, I also had a strong focus on international relations, political science, and American intellectual history.As a college teacher, I taught educational philosophy, politics and education, and both general and social studies teaching methods.
As a staff developer. I provided thousands of hours of training for teachers and administration on effective teaching, school improvement, and educational leadership, and implemented several programs, including one to train and assist beginning teachers.
