"The Left is Back?"
Whether Sanders is the nominee, or not, this could be interesting:

WOW! "High fives" to the author(s) of this article. Very well-said. There are a lot of younger people who don't know much about the ''left'' back in the day. Sen. Joe McCarthy started a reign of terror, trying to root it out and a lot of good people were hurt.
GOOD ONE, Birdman!
The problem is the Dem establishment does not really care that much about defeating Trump, despite all their talk about unity and the importance of defeating Trump. Their real concern is stopping Bernie, but admitting that would alienate the working class voters they need to appear to be a legit alternative to the Repubs, so they'll keep lying about those things for the next several months. I have made a bet to three different friends who are Dem centrists, who support Warren or Biden, that I will bet each of them $25 that Biden will get crushed by Trump in general election debates, get creamed by Trump ads about Joe's record, and that Biden will lose badly to Trump in the general, all of which I predict if Bernie gets screwed again out of the nomination. None of these three people will take my bet, because they know I am right about it.
Trump has already said he might not debate. There is no law he has to debate. In a debate he has to defend his record. In 2016 he had no record to defend. Trumps ads against Biden won't be near as bad as his "Socialist" ads he will hit Bernie with. Biden will definitely pull those right leaning Independents and moderate left leaning Indies. Hopefully Trump fatigue will bring some of those millions who didn't vote in 16. We will see.
I am hoping that however Dumpy's ads portray Biden, if he's the nominee, Democrats will realize that it's either, bull shit, or not a game changer for them. Moving Dem voters to voting for Trump, or turning them away from voting at all, ought to take little other than putting a gun to their heads.
It's always interesting with the democratic primary...
