I saw this video a while back and it made me think how probably almost nobody in congress, besides Bernie and maybe a handful of others, have any idea what modern poverty is like in America and, even more importantly, actually care about changing it...

the line that got me, was when she told about the average salary, meaning some got way more and that was without the bribes they take, just our paltry salary alone would take so many of us working poor weeks 4 years to match ( I can't watch it this min so ive forgotten the exact quote ) that was a brilliant visual and it didn't affect one of them
