New survey finds only one in four Americans are practicing Christians who prioritize faith and attend Church. Also Church attendance is plummeting which is good because that's their vector for recruiting and fundraising.
Unfortunately there are way too many Christians in name only hanging on and enabling these un-American control freaks.

Agreed. But it's far easier to sit back and have some old white guy tell you what the Bible means. And since it is riddled with thousands of contradictory statements and "facts" they can make it say anything they want for whatever they want.
Trump uses exactly the same trick - spewing thousands of contradictory statements so he can always say "I said that, believe me" or "I never said that, believe me".
Some day I'm telling you, they will transcribe all of Trump's speeches and rants and turn them into a new Gospel. It'll be like the Book of Mormon all over again.
Too many are practising and not acting like their dogma commands. Speaking of the new testament and not the old, which they love to bring up as excuses for acting as sinister assholes.

This is why they are trying so hard to get the US government under their control. They know they are the minority and are fast becoming irrelevant. If they are not stopped, we will be under the tyranny of the religious minority...and this is what our founders fought against.

Definitely, they are clawing at the sides of their graves wanting to stay in power and knowing they can't. But they might fuck things up pretty bad during their temper tantrums as they die off.
@Observer-Effect they are like the meth-addict renters who strip your house bare and barely standing before leaving. The country keeps having allergic reactions to them - 2001, 2008, 2020 are all just the country's immune system kicking in and wondering WTF will these sleep walking Americans get the message?
@prometheus Yeah, good analogy. The founders of the country had seen this exact same shit play out before. I think technology has accelerated it and made propaganda control a lot more powerful, but its the same stuff that seems to kick every empire down eventually.
Interesting to me is that the decline is as great or greater in older people as in the young. Hard to fathom is that half the decline is said to be due to people taking up religions other than Christianity. What religions are they moving to?

I use that term a lot. It should be spread more widely. Unfortunately CINO doesn't seem to stick. Maybe we need just a nice snappy name to express their fakeness. Fakeian? Antichristian? "Christ who?"-ian Getrichquickian?
