Since almost all of us have lost our ability to travel for a while, I thought it might be fun to share our travel bucket list. Here's one of the places I would love to go but probably never will so I'm going to go with Google. Tell me where you would like to go.

I love to travel but my destinations are almost always based on opportunities. Since I'm retired I can stay as long as I'm welcome. My son just opened a cafe bar in Phuket Thailand.

Well, I have visited all the main tourist destinations in Europe. But, I have never been to South America, so I would truly like to visit Colombia, Brazil, and Argentina. These are the main destinations that I would like to visit in South America. I would also like to visit Japan, South Korea, Nepal, and maybe Singapore from Asia. But to Africa, I would never like to go. I have already started completing a travel log from [thetravellog.net] for my trip to Brazil. From there I would like to go to Argentina.

I guess you could put Africa and Indonesia on the list of countries I would never visit, for personal and obvious reasons. And a couple of other places like that. Sadly, I'll probably never go to Norway, though I'd like to. And third world countries to the east. That's where I'd like to go, but I won't go under the current circumstances. But I have [freetour.com] a tour where many would like to go but have not been able to. So I am bragging about it here as it means a lot to me. I guess everyone can also say how much they appreciate a trip abroad, let's exchange opinions.

I’ve been to the places I want to go and a few I didn’t want to really.

Travel is over-rated unless you drive yourself. The tourist trail is stereotypical Westernised and cliched wherever you go. Hours in a metal tube is mortifying and weeks on a boat is dull.

If anything a return to Scotland, but that’s about it.

The only thing involving travel would be a European river cruise, with a romantic partner. Since I don’t foresee having one of them in my future, I just keep it at the back of my mind as an unfulfilled fantasy.

Was just discussing a day ago, with my mother ..how my list of travel desires has greatly decreased with time. That I’d now have to be paid to visit places I once thought ‘I’d love to see.’ I must be livin in Paradise ...I can’t think of any..

I’ve a daughter planning to move to Hawaii, perhaps due to my having described it as ‘truly a paradise’ while she grew up… So ‘there,’ Hawaii, again. No photo, though a friend posted photos of Rainbow Falls yesterday on fb ..looks the same 🙂

I've no longer got a travel bucket list, although it would be pleasant to revisit some of the countries I have visited before.
However, I do have an "event" bucket list, including watching an international rugby match in the Millenium stadium in Wales and also in Twickenham, England. Then there are joys like attending a performance in La Scala opera house.

Italy for the history and culture. India, China, Japan, because I have never been to Asia and it may be so different. South Africa for the botany and wildlife. Canada (Rockies) for a mountain fix. Greece for the deep history. And Turkey - North Cyprus for my own memories of the place and a beautiful woman.

I've been overseas once. spent six weeks in Thailand, five in Chiang Mai and one in Bangkok. Chiang Mai was beautiful, kind of hippie-dippyish very much like my home town and the food was amazing. Bangkok was dirty. Would love to go back there. Not sure how I'd do among the polar bears. Not much for the cold.

Amalfi Coast of Italy as soon as I find "her"
Unfortunately I'm forced to travel monthly to see my father in hospice, quite the roll of the dice these days

OMG, Churchill is absolutely on my bucket list! I want to take my son to see the polar bears while we still can.

I’ve been to many awesome places (Africa, the Galapagos, Australia, Alaska, the Arctic Circle, etc.). Right now, I’m planning a trip to Iceland next summer. Will tour the whole country.
