Who are the toilet-paper hoarders? and why? [sapiens.org]
It makes no sense - there is zero evidence that anything is in short supply other than because people are panic buying. Stores should just have an automatic limit on anything. And those people should just go buy a bidet or Japanese toilet.
I went to the grocery store last Friday and again today and each time the grocery store was cleaned out of bread and toilet paper and soup. How much bread and toilet paper can people possibly need? I can understand buying two or even three if your entire family is staying at home for a several weeks but people who are buying months and months of groceries you are either idiots or greedy P.O.S.
I just want a sandwich damnit!
@IrishTxJudy I bought masa and wheat flour for making bread, pizza crust, tortillas. Tortillas were still in my local grocery yesterday, but not bread or pizza crust.
So, apparently, a large personal stock of t.p. signifies a person is a hero with wisdom and foresight?
And that is how they maintain their image of being able to provide and to master an emergency.
The behavior is rather primitive.
