Missouri governor Mike Parsons R. announced today that our state has 1,031 coronavirus cases with 13 deaths. Some people want to claim that he should be doing more to curb this pandemic. I disagree. The figures look pretty good to me.
I think he should definitely do more to keep those numbers down.... !!
Virginia got the executive order today and we are to stay home besides work / food store / etc until June 10th .
The hospital issued us w letters a week ago to keep in r cars Bcz we knew this was coming .
Just at my covid unit ( converted a separated micu just for the very sick ones ), I have 8 confirmed cases , 12 waiting results , and we lost 3 last week .
Everyone who stays home is doing me a favor . We doing r very best and so far so good . This is week number 3 so will see how it goes , we reusing r N95s and our eye shields until not able to reuse anymore .
At grocery store the item # on meat is 2 for person .
But all the nutela available for me on selves , so good to go !
I live 4 minutes away from the beach and I havenβt see it in 15 days . My dogs have a long face every day , and I am planning a looong vacation in my head when this is over , just me and my boys sitting down and doing Not a damn thing
In our county the schools are offering daycare for healthcare workers' kids. We need a similar program for dog sitters/walkers
My state to the north has around 450 cases. I think our figures are a little high even tho we have only a handful of deaths so far. You have two cities that are much larger than any in our state. Our state has had bars and restaurants closed since the middle of the month except for carry out, delivery and drive up while most people have pretty much stayed home. Our governor is a Repub too.
When 10% of your population is hospitalized don't come to my state looking for equipment.
First, is he, like trump, lying?
Second, ....
The figures were good, Tom, but as of midnight the infections in Missouri have grown by over 400 and the death toll from the virus is now at 15. Parsons has not called for a statewide lockdown yet but some areas have done this on their own.
Why would anyone not want their leaders to curb the death toll from a pandemic?
Pretty good to be honest. Better than New South Wales in Oz!
