I'll second that. Postal workers are an important link during this crisis, esp since I am quite rural. If Amazon delivery drivers start getting sick or striking then the post office will likely be the backup, or else many of my neighbors will have to do without).

Another important factor is that their salary is secure (helping to stabilize the local economy) and most of them have access to a decent health plan. And I bet they can recognize when someone is suffering cabin fever or C19 because the postal clerks know everyone locally.
