I'm not entirely sure this is a good idea but for those who want to know, and are prepared to have their data recorded (anonymously) - a Covid survival Rate Calculator: [covid19survivalcalculator.com]
It came back and said I'm screwed. Really.
This is questionable.
Why? As an experiment, I completed it 3 times with different information from zero risk factors to high risk and the mortality rate it calculated was exactly the same.
In other words a non smoker, non drinker who takes no drugs and is in great health has the same "high risk" mortality rate as someone who does all those things.
Is this a method to keep people inside?
It's all very interesting.
LSD does not impact the lungs directly but like alcohol it's a neurotoxin.
I've done this multiple times now entering all the same data that applies to me. I've never had a drink in my life and don't smoke. I'm currently practicing all the safety precautions.
Just entering a 15 year increase in age, moves the needle significantly from very low to very high risk.
That changes from 20 to 35, versus 40 to 55.
I've also experimented with different variables. These risk predictions are imprecise, but I do think they'll calm those in the low risk category. However, they will send anyone in the high risk (despite never leaving home) into a panic.
The low risk of getting it seems to be accurate. If you're any age, lead a healthy lifestyle and follow all the advisories for prevention, you're at low risk. But, for death, despite all those things, one is at higher risk as age increases.
Prince Charles had mild symptoms. Other young celebrities have had much more severe ones despite their healthy lifestyles. Now there's some evidence to suggest blood type is a factor.
These are early studies and far from conclusive. They show blood type A is at higher risk of contracting, while blood type O is at lower risk.
