It’s a toss-up between....“God works in mysterious ways! “ and “God be praised!” (the second one is particularly irksome if used when someone has recovered from illness or has had their life saved by a doctor’s skill).

I can’t stand the word, “Manchester.” It just sounds gross. I am aware it’s not a set of words but I thought it was worth mentioning.

In the UK ...this word when used in the plural is a slang term for women’s breasts! 😁

Mine is " I can't be bothered"

I was tempted to write "I can't be bothered to reply" ...

And the best way of getting rid of temptation is to give in to it!
