Esquire has an article by Charles P. Pierce revealing that the coronavirus stimulus package includes "about $350 billion for the Small Business Administration (SBA) to extend loans to small businesses facing financial difficulties as a result of the coronavirus shutdown orders. Churches and other faith-based organizations are among the businesses that qualify for aid under the program, even if they have an exclusively religious orientation."
With the lack of oversight built into the legislation, we won't even be allowed to know how much goes to support churches.
The desires of the current regime and those behind it are to get us all in control and have us all working for them. The current trend does not favor full-time employment as we had in the past. Instead there is some security in computer tech regions and almost zero security in other job markets that are mostly going part-time. This is because "we the people" have become the product. We will continue to produce for them if they give us all sorts of 5G gadgets and more. I've met people who claim they can have it all if they work 3 jobs. Some are trying it. This is Koch and Mercer insanity as currently administered through the Trump Administration. It cannot last and will not last but nobody knows how and when it will end.
Labor has always been an economic commodity and abuse of laborors has always been an issue of concern. In the US, we do appear to be entering a phase of greater abuse of laborors as unions are degraded and busted and greater corporate interests in the bottom line asserts pressure to remove benefits and reduce wages. The Koch's have been particularly in favor of these reductions supporting the elimination of the minimum wage and other protections against the abuse of labor and reducing human labor to nothing more than an economic commodity.
