I just found out NBC is reairing Jesus Christ Superstar tonight. I love this musical. I bought the album back in high school and fell in love with it. I love most Andrew Lloyd Webber but this was my first. Anybody else feel the same?

Don’t think I’ve seen ..two minutes of it… I could never get past ‘the title.’ Did get into the film rendition of Tommy (by The Who), though 🙂

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen it. I think I know one or two songs from it. I love singing, so I’d probably watch it. I grew up Catholic and love singing Latin songs still. The words don’t mean anything to me ... I just love the music itself.

I changed the radio channel everytime thid harmful music began ....same with Fidler on the roof or Exodus piano music duet from the movie....religion selling harmful lies

No .... the alleged geebush jeehobah ghostholes character is a waste of good music upon 14 centuries worth of lies

But it is a good story, full of emotion. You don't have to believe to enjoy.

@NHjulie the singing is outstanding but the story is a pathetic curse upon humanity.....I enjoy religious movies about real people Preachers Wife Whitney Houston or Field of Dreams.... death is too real to enjoy lies that an alleged baby gawd hybrid human only died for 36 hours 1983 years ago when no such crucifixion torture death happened

@NHjulie one hour west of THE FIELD OF DREAMS is Mason City Meredith Wilson MUSIC MAN home town and half hour south is Spilville where Dvorak wrote NEW WORLD SYMPHONY.....music lovers can find many gigs worth the drives in most weather....Eddie Van Halen married an Iowa girl...Charleston S Carolina has great music where I lived 14 years and Fingerlakes NY For 4 years of awesome performers I enjoyed .....I am sure somewhere east of Vermont you will tell me of gigs on going and replay their work @ home
