Two of the most religious states, Mississippi and Louisiana, are hit by tornadoes on Easter Sunday. With all the talk about ignoring warnings about gatherings at church, I find that sad but ironic.

Me, too. But quite realistic!

You have to wonder if anything will actually wake the religious up? I assume, deep down, they know better … and it’s more a cultural or societal expectation and pecking order that keeps them involved.. But what about this virus, rampant around the world? Where are any one of their ‘gods?’

I find it sad but ironic that anyone would stereotype entire states and cast them as monoliths because their religious habits are a few percentage points above the national average, and would then make a big issue out of some tornadoes setting down in a few places through entirely random natural processes.

It sounds like you are saying that God smote the entire states when actually, some tornadoes caused damage in just a few places. It’s nothing in which to be taking smug pleasure.

And it appears you’re bored, and smugly looking to pick a fight. Seems there’s a reason I skip yur shit ..just kinda stepped into here 😉

Exhibit A: The wages of sin is death.

Exhibit B: The wages of stupidity is religion.
