I don't ever ask for directions because I had people ask me for directions when I worked in a gas station and I usually just made something up. I hated that job and those people.

The men who asked for directions couldn't figure out who to ask about where to find women, so that gene died off.

It never bothered me to ask directions, especially if I was in a hurry, but if I didn’t it was because it was just a fun challenge to figure it out. Self-reliance.
