What can one do with a person who is too ignorant even to realise that he is ignorant?
Paraphrase of his latest quote:-
Chlorine bleach kills this virus in one minute. So why can't we just put a little chlorine into a person's lungs? I'm clever, I can think of these things.
Er.... Isn't that what the German army did against the French army in 1915?

I really hate to admit this but because of a personal experience I am really concerned that some people will try his treatment.
During my 1st month in my 1st apartment, I developed athlete's foot. Sadly for me I remembered overhearing my grandfather tell someone that the only way he had ever been able to cure his was with Clorox. Yes even though I read the warnings I poured undeluted Clorox on my already irritated feet. The only way I could wear shoes After that stupidity was with a cup of hand lotion slathered on my fee and bobby socks .
This is a testimony to how much I respected my grandfather.
Shame you hadn't yet discovered that zinc oxide kills most fungi.
I guess if the person is your president there’s not much you can do with him. People in high positions sometimes say wrong things, after all, they are only human.
I’m not going to vote for the guy but for now he is my president.
Basically, Hobson's choice.
@Petter Ha, I had to look that up.
Yes, we have no choice but to make the best out of what we have, like it or not.
I had a grandfather who administered that treatment to cure France and Belgium of Germans in 1916. He said it wasn't much fun when they used back.
So what's next for Trump, send in tanks to crush the virus?
It would not surprise me if he came out with such nonsense.
I just let em talk themselves out but if they pick a fight over and over eventually I snap. Then I go back to letting them talk themselves out. heh
To answer your question, there is nothing that can be done.
Donald Trump is an extreme example of the Dunning-Kruger effect who also happens to be ineducable.
I think we should hold a contest for people to try and find the most stupid Trumpism of all. I would not have believed this one if it was not the BBC reporting it.
The "Trump that if you can" awards.
There are far too many Trumpisms to choose from.
