I always knew Scientology was weird and obviously just a bunch of nonsense, but I had no idea what it was really about. It was founded and created by L. Ron Hubbard. He created this practice called Dianetics... "from Greek dia, meaning "through", and nous, meaning "mind" ) is a set of ideas and practices regarding the metaphysical relationship between the mind and body created by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Dianetics is practiced by followers of Scientology and the Nation of Islam (as of 2010)."

The chart/photo I posted are all the levels one can reach that they are told will drastically change one's life for the better. You have to pay money to reach each level through training courses. There's this concept called "being clear," which means you have gotten rid of all your fears and traumas in the past using this weird method called auditing. Too hard to explain, as I would have to write so much.

Once you reach OT VIII (Operating Thetan Level 8 ), you are told you now have special magical powers like mind reading, extraterrestrial knowledge and powers, etc.

Member of the cult are told that once they become a member and reach the levels, you will live for eternity and infinite number of lives after you die. Hubbard and the new leader David Miscavige are physically abusive and emotionally abusive to the members of the cult. Hubbard would threaten his wife many times. He also used his Scientology creation to help with his own psychiatric issues. Sounds like a really sane and trustworthy person.

Tom Cruise apparently has reached level 8 and is the biggest celebrity spokesperson for Scientology. This is so creepy to me, I have never heard of anything so bizarre and insane in my life!
