To be True to Agnostics you must first and foremost be a lover of History, and having had some Philosophy as a primer to achieving fame. Historically the Bible was written thru the Hearts, Minds, Hopes and fears of four Crude Ignorant men. Who were documented as being Fisherman from Galilee none of whom could read or write. Some of the most noted Historians and True Believers of the this went out on a limb to discover the truth. They went to the most learned Universities and Institutions in pursuit of their belief only to find it totally void and without any validity to include almost 5000 + mistakes in the translations that were preformed 300 years after the fact. Look up this period and who did the transcriptions and how they were responsible for this under the conditions which they performed them in and what to transcribe it and how.
Enter Constantine who is a Pagan and order up the Council of Nicea to which he invites all the heads of religion to decide how to make a Bible that all will believe in, and they all show up because he won the war. Now they go and burn all the relevant sources of documentation worth embellishment and produce a catastrophe work that was published with blood and mayhem for those who did not adhere but because they could not read it. It was called the "Dark Ages" for that specific reason and more persons died trying to explain their convictions for the very reason that they had no interest in hearing them or had any intent for those of concern or voice about the matter. I'll shut up and let others complete the story.
The dark ages were a result of Christians suppressing all knowledge that was not written in or cohesive to the bible. All that knowledge was destroyed in order to make people more dependant on the church. It worked and people starved.
Hi (nevermind345); I enjoyed reading your post. Lately I've been of the mind that it's all about human chemistry. Specifically the brains neuro/chemical functions ALONG with my chicken and egg question of which comes first environment, chemistry or emotion.
