Major food retailers limit meat purchases amid pandemic. How many more will follow? I've also seen it in Aldis and Hannafords. Where have you seen it?

I had plenty of chicken in the freezer for my needs and a couple of pounds of ground beef. I am not a big animal protein eater. I suspect there will be limits just to avoid the hoarding that some are prone to.

This first I have heard about it, but not surprised by it.

Not here in So. Calif....at least, not yet. But we're a farming State and I suspect there'll be a shortage but not a real crisis. That's a mixed thought for me, since I never eat red meat and go many days without eating flesh at all. I've noticed many more ''plant-based'' products coming into markets and many of them are quite good!. YAY!

Not here. The supermarkets and butcheries are well stocked. Had grilled pork open sandwiches for lunch and there are two tasty steaks marinading in garlic and onion salt ready for supper.
