Are you a coffee person? If so, what's your favorite coffee?
Med-Dark to Dark and More of it.
On a side note: Why is Breakfast Blend the Weakest, seems like it would be the strongest/darkest roast.
A favorite memory from childhood is the smell of the coffee inside the A & P Store. I still love the smell of A & P coffee, so I buy A & P coffee beans and grind them to make my coffee.
I remember the smell of the coffee beans and the bean grinder in the local A&P, when I was a kid. It's no lie that smells are some of the strongest memory triggers.
I could not live without coffee. I get Costco preground but always be sure I use water filtered through the Britta and put one dash of salt on the grounds in the filter, smooooths it out. We get good coffee reviews from guests at the shop
I like fresh ground coffee that I grind myself with sugar and milk. I like good tea too.
Stovetop espresso made with my great grandmothers coffee pot.
My great-grandfather did the same.
Funny story. My dad would drink two pots of coffee every day. He would have a cup of coffee immediately before going to bed. I mean immediately. He would get ready for bed, grab a cup of black coffee, down it, and head off to bed.
I love everything about coffee EXCEPT the taste. I love the smell, the texture, the vibe of the coffee shop, what caffeine does to me. But I cannot stand the taste of coffee. Then I discovered frappes, and that's the only way I can drink coffee.
Or, as I like to say, I like my coffee like I like my women: cold and bitter
(Oh, and don't even get me started on tea)
I am having an affair with my Keurig. I am not if favour of the disposable pods, so I bought the refillable filters. Coffee is how I start my day.
I had to buy a U.S. vesion on Amazon and transformer to use it here in Australia.
I just came back from 2 months in Vietnam, coffee with breakfast evey day, and a 10AM trip to the the local coffee shop. Vietnam runs on coffee, there is good coffee everywhere.
When I lived in the U.S.A. I made a 10AM drive to my local Stabucks every day... I had a choice of several withing a few miles, and I can tell you some are much better than others. Starbucks in Australia, undrinkable.
I like Sumatran dark roasted. As dark and bitter as my non-existent soul. I drink a cup first thing in the morning. A travel mug on the drive to work then more at work. I think it really enhances my disposition.
Make it in an original Italian expresso maker on the top of the stove or fire like the cowboys!!!
Not fussy-have K-cup machine-can use regular coffee in k-cups (refillable) and add flavored coffee creamer hazlenut and vanilla.
