the big word IF if everyone agrees with it

Here I am changing your question and making a point connected to my other 2 comments I already posted. Is it possible for an OBJECTIVE concept of God (if everyone agrees with it) be a positive force for humanity?

Christianity has their objectively defined concept of God BUT wait!!! That split into denominations and now their are many different types of churches.

Islam has their specific defination for their God and in ways it clashes with other definations of a God.

So many do not agree, thus the conflict between different definations for a God.

God defined as a word of open definition and usage, in that any person could give any usage or define it in any way, whether logical, provable, real, surreal or not.
There are some things labeled by this word that have more popularity than others. There are groups of people that give a certain definition to this word that they agree on and follow for that group. There are those that would say there is nothing in existence that this word would properly label.
There are those that do not have evidence for a reason to label anything with this word. There are those that could never know what to label with this word.

Most God concepts are already subjective. subjective defined as "based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions."his views are highly subjective" Almost every person would tell you their person description of a God. Many parts of these discriptions are shared by many people and are very common.

An objective defination for a God is really what you are asking for. To give an objective defination means that the God is defined and that defination is NOT changed because of an individual feeling, taste, or opinion. To objectify a God, would be to make God into an object unto it's own. Thus God being it's own unchanged object OR unchanged objective concept that does not change in and of itself. It's like saying "Give God a set defination and do not change that defination for God", then you have an objectively defined God.

Objective defined as intent upon or dealing with things external to the mind rather than with thoughts or feelings, as a person or a book.

Is it possible for a group delusion to be held in which people make choices for other people based on that is not real, concerning the making of laws, capital punishment, etc. ?

Even small delusions are taken too far with god types. Eventually in most instances someone ends up dead or a fgreat many end up dead as a result.

Whether or not everyone agrees or what kind of effect believing has is not the issue. The only question is whether or not a subjective concept of God makes sense.

As a person who leans toward the idea of universal consciousness in which we all share, I think the concept makes sense. It’s not something to believe or disbelieve. The nature of ultimate reality is a profound and inexplicable mystery that we can not understand. About all we can really do is think about that mystery and live with awe and reverence.

I’d prefer not to throw around the “god” label because that word raises the wrong kind of mental imagery.

The selfish will not follow the rules and they will exploit those who do, just as they do in other systems.

There will always be those who believe that they are above the law or rules and those who believe that they don't deserve anything.

I'm not sure why you stipulate everyone agreeing with it. That immediately makes it unimaginable.

Why not just ask whether a person holding a subjective concept of God can enhance ones humanity? It does seem to me that some individuals have a positive experience in terms of how it enhances their life.

"subjective concept of God (if everyone agrees with it)"
The only way that everyone will agree on anything is if it is provable with evidence and is therefore no longer subjective, but is objective and no longer a concept but an actuality.

Then again look at the quality and quantity of objective evidence we have that Donald Trump is a lying, pig of man yet 40% of the country won't believe it. Obviously believe based on evidence requires some competence and fair mindedness, and those qualities are not always easy to find.

@MarkWD Which is precisely why at least a significant amount of the other 60% think his existence is a deceitful personification of ignorance and evil incarnate

There is no god, so any subjective concept is inconceivable.

What Humanity needs to figure out fast is that we’re alone, are most often our own worst enemy, and are in serious need of recognizing and respecting that fact. Showing some respect (and serious research) for all else we share this planet with would be helpful, too…

Everyone won't agree on it, as it's totally asserted without evidence and everyone projects their own presuppositions and fantasies on it. So, no. It will remain, as it ever had been, a major source of tribalism.
