A couple in St. Pete Missouri is facing ten years in jail and a one hundred and eighty thousand dollar fine for NOT PUTTING IN A GRASS YARD!! The wife is allergic to grass and the husband has been fighting the home owners association as well as the city to grant him a waiver. No luck on his part. Now the case is about to go to trial. Is this ridiculous or what?

I suppose, if a waiver can't be obtained, maybe a $50 fine might be understandable. Ten years in jail seems harsh.
